The town commissioners and planning board members will have a summer break this August.
Because of a lack of urgent business, there will be no monthly work session for the mayor and town commissioners on the usual first Tuesday, Aug. 5, and the same is true for the members of the Wake Forest Planning Board, who also usually meet on the first Tuesday.
Not to worry. They will be back at work next month, and the town board will hold a regular business meeting Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. in town hall.
