Youth charged for Heritage HS threat

The 14-year-old Florida juvenile who posted a Twitter message saying “I’m shooting up Heritage (expletive)” was arrested last week in Pinellas County, Florida. He may have been a Heritage student last year. He is charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury, electronic communication.

He posted the threat on the Wake http://www.lbwr.org/ambien/ County Public School System’s Twitter feed at 10:44 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, and Heritage administrators notified the Wake Forest Police Department at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday. All three Heritage schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution, but the emergency codes were lifted by noon.
