Stone Age Romeos headline FNOW

The popular band Stone Age Romeos will entertain the crowd expected Friday night, July 8, for the fourth edition of Friday Night on White. The crowds have been growing since the first installment in April, reaching an estimated 10,000 in June. What will be the number for this week?

The free concert will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Presented by White Street Brewing Company, Friday Night on White takes place the second Friday of each month, April through September.

Food and dessert trucks scheduled to participate on July 8 are Bulkogi, Charlie’s on Wheels, Cockadoodlemoo, King’s Philly Cheesesteaks, Sarge’s Chef on Wheels, Smokehouse Blues, VFW Chuckwagon, Virgil’s Jamaica, Kona Ice, Lumpy’s, and Sweet Traditions.

Also, there are a number of downtown restaurants: Backfins Crabhouse, The Burger Shop, Domino’s Pizza, The Forks Cafeteria, Hardee’s, LaForesta Italian Café & Pizzeria, Las Margaritas, The Lemon Tree, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, Olde English Tea Room, Olies, Over The Falls, Pizza Amore, Shorty’s Famous Hot Dogs, and Wake Forest Coffee Company.

Beer and wine are available for purchase. Age identification will be checked for beer and wine. All transactions for beer and wine are with White Street Brewing Co. tokens.

Beer may be purchased with White Street Brewing Co. tokens at the following locations:

White Street Brewing Co. beer truck located in the Owen Avenue extension in between B&W Hardware and Pizza Amore; White Street Brewing Co. beer truck located at the intersection of South White Street and East Jones Avenue; and inside White Street Brewing Co., 218 S. White St.

Wine must be purchased and consumed inside White Street Brewing Co.

Soft drinks and bottled water are available for purchase with cash only at the Wake Forest Police Department Explorer Post 401 tent. The tent is located along Owen Avenue adjacent to the food and dessert trucks.

Free parking is available along several side streets and parking lots in downtown Wake Forest, including Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Bring a lawn chair and blanket – but please leave your coolers and outside alcoholic beverages at home.
