On Saturday, Nov. 15, seven members of the Wake Forest Optimist Club cooked brunch at the Durham Ronald McDonald House for the families of children who are patients at Duke Hospital.
The members provided the food and cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, fruit and beverages.

The group learned the great hardship a gravely ill child is on all the family.
