You can still buy local gifts for Christmas because the Wake Forest Farmers Market board has invited all the crafters from the Holiday Market to return with their pottery, hand-knit items, soap, lotions, candles, candy and more for Saturday’s market from 10 a.m. to noon in the Renaissance Plaza along Brooks Street.
Along with the special holiday items, the local farmers and bakers will be at the market with their seasonal greens and vegetables, their variety of meats – beef, chicken, duck, turkey, lams, goat and rabbit – and the eggs, honey, baked goods and gluten-free baked goods.
The market will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon through March.
