*The Wake Forest Farmers Market will be open in Renaissance Plaza on Brooks Street from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 21.

*Because of the inclement weather on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 16 and 17, the 2015 State of the Town Dinner and Address hosted by the Wake Forest Rotary Club has been delayed until Monday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. It will be held in the Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street; the $15 tickets may still be available. Those who want to hear the address without the dinner should arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. as the address is planned to begin between 6:45 and 7 p.m.

*Exploring the History of Wake Forest: a special Writer’s Night in the Forest will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Renaissance Centre and will feature local historians and people who remember significant town milestones. The free event is described in the current issue of the Gazette.

*A Night of Comedy jointly sponsored by the Wake Forest High School Band Boosters and the Wake Forest Rotary Club will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street. See article in this issue for other details including tickets.

*The Reverse Raffle sponsored by the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce will be held Friday, March 20, at the Renaissance Center on Brooks Street.

*Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, will be at the Wake Forest Historical Museum on North Main Street from April 16 through May 31. This is one of only five North Carolina museums selected to host the exhibit, which is free and will be open to the public every day during the exhibit.

*Tarheel Traveler Scott Mason from WRAL-TV will be at the Wake Forest Historical Museum Sunday, May 3, for a free public program as part of the Hometown Teams exhibit.
