There have been 1,148 responses to date to the survey about a swimming pool in Wake Forest. People have until Friday, Sept. 16 to answer the survey about the Holding Park pool at www.wakeforestnc.gov/swimming-pool-community-interest-survey.aspx.
The Wake Forest Town Board will review those first responses during their work session at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, but will not make a decision about the pool until their business meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Also on Sept. 6 the board will continue a discussion about the policy for special events that was begun during their summer retreat Aug. 19. Another item will be a presentation about the update for the customer care policy.
They will discuss how to spend the $150,000 in state Rural Economic Development funds earmarked for downtown revitalization.
There will be planning board meeting this month. It is usually at 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday.
