The Wake Forest Inspections Department permitted 46 homes during August – 35 single-family houses and 11 townhouses.
The department’s inspectors also visited the fit-ups for new businesses: Orange Theory Fitness at 12646 Capital Boulevard and a U-Haul showroom at 9701 Capital Boulevard. Pre-occupancy inspections were made for Gooey’s American Grille at 950 Gateway Commons Circle, Southern Love Studios at 1318 South Main Street, AMC Sales at 527 South White Street, Virgilio’s Premium Vinegars, Oils & Edibles at 1839 South Main Street,, and Inpax Shipping Solutions at 2820 Superior Drive.
Wilson Parker Homes will build six townhouses from 432 to 446 Retreat Lane in the Richland Hills subdivision in the Richland Creek basin, and Dan Ryan Builders will build five townhouses also in the Richland Hills subdivision. Together the builders paid $54,623.75 for the permits; the houses will add an estimated $801,831 to the Wake Forest tax base.
The single-family homes are listed with the applicant first followed by the address, the subdivision, the creek basin, the fees paid, the square footage and the estimated (by the applicant) improvement value.
