3 inches of snow quiets traffic, closes schools

This started to be a reprise of what you already know from television, your phone and just looking out your windows. We had a snowstorm Tuesday evening after dark, hours after it was first predicted to begin, and today we are looking at about three inches in the Wake Forest area.

You know from the state of your street or road whether it would be wise to go out. You know the children are home from school or daycare. You know about the ice in Wilmington, the sledding in Fayetteville. The mail may be delivered; all emergency services can reach you if need be.

So if you can, enjoy a day in the snow or in the quiet.
