The Growth Rate

Based on the February 2024 Monthly Development Report, WF Planning Updated April 10, 2024 The updated Wake Forest population as of July 1, 2023 was 56,681. That figure included the new homes which were approved for occupancy. When all the current approved apartments, townhouses and single-family homes are built the population will rise to 69,956. The town keeps a running tally of approved projects with counts of those completed. The best inspections current estimate is that between seven and eight people move to town each day, moving into newly-built houses, townhouses or apartments and a few existing houses that were for sale. Projects under review There were only three changes between the January and February list of plans under review. Jake Lee Creep Zebulon Jake Lee Creep, age 32, beloved son, brother, nephew, and uncle left this earth far too soon and totally unexpected. Jake will forever be remembered for his kind heart, caring ways, love of the outdoors, nature, and the notorious adventure seeker that he was. Jake was born on July 24, 1991 in Raleigh, NC. He was a 2010 Graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and attended Cape Fear Community College. Jake was a hard worker and held positions as a salesman at Hollingsworth Auto Sales, Arborist, Landscape Tree Climber, and Horse trainer.   Jake was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed being outside wherever he could. He was caring, loving, had a sensitive heart, was always there to help others in need, animal lover, his jokester ways – picking on his sisters, and a strong protector of his loved ones.
