Mary Dolores ‘Doris’ Bonett Franklinton Doris Bonett, 71, of Franklinton died Sunday evening, October 18, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Balzan, Malta, the daughter of the late Josephine Carachi and Lawrence Caruana. Mrs. Bonett was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker. A funeral mass will be held at 12:15 Friday afternoon, October 23, 2015, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest. Mrs. Bonett is survived by her husband, Victor Bonett; daughters, Rita Bonett of Franklinton, Diane Zammit and husband, Alfred, of Franklinton; a son, Frankie Bonett and wife, Julie, of Youngsville; brothers, Peter Caruana and John Caruana, both of New York; grandchildren, Lacy, Keith and Kaylee; and great-grandchildren, Layla and Emma.
