James Victor Kelly Rolesville James Victor Kelly, 77, of Rolesville passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Josephine Neal Kelly and John Walter Kelly Sr. James was a retired captain with the City of Raleigh Fire Department. He was a member of the Raleigh Elks Lodge since 1986, a member of the Raleigh Moose Lodge since 1990, where he earned the Pilgrim Degree in 2003, and was a Mason for 50-plus years. Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 6, 2015, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. George W. McCullough III officiating. Burial was in the Rolesville Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites. James is survived by his wife, Nancy Merritt Kelly; step-children, Roxey Wilkins and Clif Mangum; sisters, Doris Kelly Barbour of Orlando, Florida, Elizabeth Kelly
