A RISE and DRIVE Youth Empowerment Workshop for young men and women ages 11 through 17 will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alston-Massenburg Center on North Taylor Street.
The Back2School Extravaganza will include workshops, vision boards, motivational success talks and free school supplies. The event is free, and a continental breakfast will be served.
The workshop is sponsored by the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department.
