During February the Wake Forest Inspections Department permitted 43 new homes – 39 single-family homes and four townhouses – to bring this year’s total to 74 new homes with the 31 from January – 21 single-family and 10 townhouses.
McCallan Construction has been fitting up two suites at 11480 Capital Boulevard (the retail building on one of the outparcels for the never-built Shoppes at Caveness Farms shopping center) Sam’s Club temporary office. The office will be very close to the construction site for the new outlet store.
Another fitting up has been underway in the Friendship Professional Center at 1241 South Main Street for Active Candidate Management Services LLC. Back on Capital Boulevard, T-Mobile will soon have a store in Wake Forest Crossing shopping center near the Just Tires store.
The four townhouses will be built at 1073-1077 Blue Bird Lane in the Caveness Farms Apartment complex by CH Construction. The fees totaled $22,578 and the new homes will add $487,000 to the town’s tax base.
