Town permits 38 homes in August

The only commercial building permitted by the Wake Forest Inspections Department in August was for Panera Bread at 11665 Northpark Drive that will be built by the Sela Building Corporation, no address given. The fees for the 4,568-square-foot building were $36,808.63.

The department also inspected fit-ups for four new businesses; Nazir Ahmad Dental at 3150 Rogers Road, a meeting hall or banquet facility at 102 West North Avenue, Heritage Salon at 3117 Rogers Road, and retail space at 1000 Forestville Road.

Also the department inspected for pre-occupancy for Consulting Service at 1784 Heritage Center Drive, Serenity & Grace Therapeutic Services at 1788 Heritage Center Drive, and Personal Storage Space at 5101 Unicon Drive.

Permits for 38 single-family homes were issued in August. They are listed by applicant, address, subdivision, creek basin, fees paid, square feet, and improvement value estimated by the applicant.
