In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Town of Wake Forest facilities, including the Wake Forest Town Hall, will be closed to the public starting Tuesday, March 24, until further notice. However, town parks and greenways will remain open to the public.
Wake Forest residents have access to the town’s full array of online resources through the Customer Service Central (CSC) portal located at www.wakeforestnc.gov/customer-service-central. CSC provides instant access to a variety of online forms, along with SeeClickFix which allows residents to report damaged sidewalks, street light outages, potholes and other non-emergency problems. CSC is also linked to the Raleigh Water website where you can request changes to your water and sewer account, pay your bill, check your account balance and view your transaction history.
In addition, residents may drop off utility bill payments, rental deposits and paperwork (leases, letters of credit, copies of photo IDs, etc.) in the drive-up drop box located in Town Hall’s Brooks Street parking lot.
While Town Hall is closed, Town staff will check the drop box twice each day. The Town will mail acknowledgements and receipts upon request.

Although Wake Forest’s facilities are closing, the work of the Town will continue uninterrupted through the COVID-19 response.
Public Meetings
The April 7 Planning Board meeting has been canceled. However, both the April 7 Board of Commissioners work session and April 21 Board of Commissioners meeting will proceed as scheduled by telephone and other electronic means.
The Town of Wake Forest broadcasts Board of Commissioners and Planning Board meetings on Wake Forest TV10. The Town also records, live-streams and broadcasts these meetings at http://bit.ly/TOWFMeetings and https://bit.ly/WFTV10. The public is encouraged to participate in the April meetings during public comment sections by submitting comments in advance via online comment form and via telephone. Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources
All Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) facilities closed March 16. PRCR-maintained playgrounds, restrooms and athletics fields are also closed until further notice, along with all picnic shelters and basketball, pickleball and tennis courts. Wake Forest Power
Wake Forest Power (WFP) offers an array of convenient payment options including Wake Forest Pre-Pay Power, Online Bill Pay, Automatic Bank Draft and Equal Payment Plan. Residents can also drop off utility bill payments at their convenience at the drop box located in Town Hall’s Brooks Street parking lot. The Town will mail receipts upon request.
WFP has temporarily suspended all service disconnections due to nonpayment and has suspended late payment fees while the crisis is ongoing. Anyone who is unable to pay their electric bill or does not have any options other than cash, is urged to initiate a payment plan by calling 919-435-9478 or emailingabrown@wakeforestnc.gov. Bills and debt will not be forgiven or erased, but the Town will work with customers to make payments in order to prevent the accumulation of a larger balance.

Sanitation

Inspections
For now, most residential and commercial building inspections will continue as normal, although adjustments may need to be made in some cases based on staffing levels, workload and risk assessments.
