The steps to a successful CROP Walk

Dear friends of CROP Walk,

For many years, YOU have come together and raised money to support local and global hunger needs through the Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk. Coming together as a community has changed lives!

Today, the vulnerable among us continue to struggle to keep their families healthy and safe. Communities worldwide need us now more than ever. The good news is that you can still be part of our ‘making a difference’ tradition!

STEP #1:

Go to www.crophungerwalk.org/wakeforestnc and register today. If you are part of a team, you can join your team or simply make a donation to support any team.

STEP #2:

Attend the Team Captain Rally on Saturday, August 10th from 10am – 12:00 pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 834 Durham Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Be informed about the Walk, Pick up packets, brochures, bulletin inserts, and other walk promotional materials.  Missed the meeting but  want to know more, email wakeforestcropwalk@gmail.com

STEP #3:

Support Community Share Night fundraisers:
Zaxby’s, 995 Durham Rd., Wake Forest, NC 27587

Thursday, August 15 5:00-8:00 pm

10% of all sales will be donated to Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk

Culver’s, 2819 Rogers Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Wednesday, September 11th – 5pm-8pm

10% of all sales will be donated to the Wake Forest CROP Hunger

 CROPWalk – September 22, 3:00 pm 

Please join in us in the fight against hunger on Sunday, September 22nd at the Wake Forest Birthplace as we walk in solidarity with our neighbors who are affected by poverty, hunger, displacement, and disaster. Invite your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and faith partners to this fun, family-friendly event that helps to transform the lives of the most vulnerable people around the block and around the world. 

Registration begins at 2:00 pm and step off is at 3:00 pm.

Benefiting organizations from funds raised are Tri-Area Ministry, Hope House, Wake Forest Community Table, and Church World Service.
