The 67th annual Wake Forest Community Christmas Dinner will be held Monday, Dec. 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in The Forks Cafeteria on Brooks Street.
The $15 tickets are on sale at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, The Forks Cafeteria and the Wake Forest Historical Museum.
Each year the highlight of the dinner is the presentation of three awards, the Citizen of the Year, the Organization of the Year and the Peggy Allen Lifetime Achievement Award. There is still time to nominate people and organizations for this year’s awards. See the article in this week’s issue about the nomination process and the details about each award.
The dinner is organized by the Geral James Moore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Wake Forest Historical Association, the Wake Forest Rotary Club, the Wake Forest Purple Heart Foundation and the Wake Forest Historical Museum.
