There are two new craft classes at the Northern Wake Senior Center on East Holding Avenue – Carolyn Zahnow will show how you can make beautiful glycerine soaps. It will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, and the cost is $15 (cash, please). You will take home the equivalent of two bars of soap as well as instructions and a resources sheet. The class size is limited to 12.
— Nancy Foss will show you how to create beautiful decorated glasses with Mandala dotting. This will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The cost is $5 (cash, please) for two glasses and the supplies.

Also, mark your calendars for Dec. 4 when the Northern Wake Fire Department will hold the Holly Jolly Market outdoors at the fire station, 7045 Stony Hill Road, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Northern Wake Senior Center will have a tent selling lots of craft items that have been created at the center. Support two worthy local causes by attending and purchasing.
The Northern Wake Fire Department was created by joining the Falls Fire Department and the Stony Hill Fire Department.
