Lawn Care 101, a one-night class geared to homeowners, this how-to session emphasizes cool season turf management and fall overseeding, provides useful information about plant beds and addresses common landscaping practices used throughout the town’s parks.
The class, sponsored by the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 Monday, Sept. 10, at the Wake Forest Community House on West Owen Avenue. Class size is limited to the first 100 people to register.
Park Maintenance Superintendent Josh Glover will lead the workshop. An N.C. State graduate with a degree in Turfgrass Science, Glover has 10 years turf management experience involving everything from parks and golf courses to professional baseball and football sports turf, including Bank of America Stadium.
