Rocking’ the Forest resumes Oct. 28

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts will continue the Rockin’ the Forest music series with Terry Anderson and the OAK Team on Friday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m.

Terry Anderson has one of the noblest agendas in music. He just wants to rock and roll, and that’s just what he and his “team” do. Taking their cues from the likes of Rockpile, Faces, NRBQ, and all those bands that deserve to be on every jukebox coast-to-coast, Anderson and his Olympian band have mastered the art of making great music. For more information about Terry Anderson and the OAK Team, visit http://oakteam.me/.

Advance tickets for the Oct. 28 performance are $10 plus tax and can be purchased online with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card at www.wakeforestnc.gov/tickets-events.aspx. Advance tickets may also be purchased with cash, check or credit card at the Renaissance Centre Box Office, 405 S. Brooks St. On the day of the concert tickets can be purchased at the door. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and seating is limited.

Assembling some of the top musical acts in our area and beyond, the “Rockin’ the Forest” Music Series offers an unforgettable evening of live music and a wonderful variety of genres, including rock, Americana, and power pop. Designed to offer local audiences first rate performances that previously required travel to downtown Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Carrboro, Rockin’ the Forest takes place inside the intimate comfort of the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre.

The next “Rockin’ the Forest” concert is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. and will feature Johnny Folsom 4. To view the complete 2016-17 “Rockin’ the Forest” concert schedule, visit  www.wakeforestnc.gov/rockin-the-forest-music-series.aspx.
