Sally K. Albrecht brings decades of experience from around the globe, a fast pace, and fun to learning music. Under her direction, participants become better readers of music and better choral singers, joining with others to experience large group singing, truly a joyous, unmatched experience. Much of the music for the workshop was composed by Sally or her husband, Jay Althouse, both members of the Northeast Piedmont Chorale.
The Northeast Piedmont Chorale was founded almost 28 year ago in Louisburg and now meets in Wake Forest. It is directed by Sue Crocker, an Associate Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Henderson. The Director of the Parish Choir at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is Brenda Rebilas. Both Ms Crocker and Ms Rebilas will actively participate in this workshop along with most members of their choirs. There is room for approximately 100 more participants. With Sally K. Albrecht at the podium, all singers are guaranteed an exceptional and memorable musical experience.
