Abby Jones Timberlake

Alva (Abby) Jones Timberlake, 82, of Rolesville passed away Saturday morning, May 16, 2015, at the William Dunlap Center for Caring at Transitions LifeCare.
She was born in the Duke’s Crossroads Community of Wake County and graduated from Rolesville High School in 1951. Abby married the love of her life, William (Billy) Timberlake, on May 10, 1951. She worked at NCDMV for ten years and then began working full time in the business that she and Billy started (Hasty Pump Co. later renamed Hasty Utilities, Inc.). She retired in 1988 to build a new home and spend time on her lawn mower and in her flowers until her health declined.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, May 19, 2015, at Rolesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Abby is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billy Timberlake; her son, Wayne Timberlake of Knightdale and his longtime partner, Mary Height of Youngsville; sister, Doris Andrews and husband, Carl, of Pikeville and brother, Carl Jones and wife, Lakey, of Duke’s Crossroads.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Transitions LifeCare for their compassion and care.
Pallbearers were Mark Timberlake, Charles Timberlake, Marshall Sledge, Carlyle Woodlief, Charles Vinson, and Jimmy Gay.

Michael A. Crilley
Wake Forest
Michael Allan Crilley, 71, of Wake Forest died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Rex Hospital. He was born in Greensburg, Penn., the son of the late Elizabeth Zorzi Crilley and Michael John Crilley. He was a welder for Westinghouse for twenty years before becoming a food service technician for Hobart and KLM.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Entombment was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens with military honors and Masonic graveside rites.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sally Crilley; sons, Michael Crilley and wife, Patricia, of Odessa, Del., and Matthew Crilley and wife, Amy, of Wake Forest; and grandsons, Michael, Alex, Troy and Tristan.
Memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
Pallbearers were Michael P. Crilley, Matthew D. Crilley, Michael J. Crilley, Alex R. Crilley, Barrett Gruber, and Brian Hefflefinger.

Joseph Francis Kennedy
Wake Forest
Joseph Francis Kennedy, 73, of Wake Forest left us to be with the Lord after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Elizabeth, N.J., to the late Francis Kennedy and Lillian Harrington Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy graduated from Linden High School in Linden, N.J., and later received a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. Joseph worked with Schering-Plough Corporation, Revlon, Pergo, Coty and most recently was self-employed as an IT Consultant. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Airman.
A memorial service will be held later in the year at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Linden, N.J.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Ann Kennedy; children, Allisyn Kennedy and Kaitlyn Kennedy, both of Richmond, Va., Kelly Kennedy of Dorchester, Mass., and Joseph Kennedy and wife, Lisa, of High Bridge, N.J.; siblings, Sharon Husosky of Old Bridge, N.J., Barry Kennedy and wife, Linda, of South Amboy, NJ., and Debbie Kennedy of East Brunswick, N.J.; sister-in-law, Karen Kennedy of Beachwood, N.J.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Jean Tomasula of Sandusky, Ohio; his faithful canine companion, Beauregard; and several nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gail Knowlton and Ronald Kennedy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Rex Healthcare Cancer Center at Wakefield in Raleigh, Dr. Sankar Adusumilli in Raleigh, Dr. Craig Warner in Raleigh, Bayada Home Health Care, Transitions LifeCare, and Rev. Charles Stratton of Youngsville Baptist Church for the care and attention they have given.

Daniel Edward Landry, 31, of Wake Forest passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at WakeMed. He was born on May 5, 1983, in Essex County, Massachusetts. Daniel was in Sales and Installation at the Fireplace and Patio, Inc.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, May 16, 2015, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Landry is survived by his daughter, Kylie Landry of Raleigh; mother, Grace Landry of Wake Forest; father, Frederick Landry of Ohio; siblings, Caroll Vanessa Rojas-De La Cruz of Raleigh, Oliver R. Franco Rojas of California and Corinna L Landry of Wake Forest; and grandfather, Alfredo Rojas of Guatemala.
