Donald Houston Jones, 66, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Lillie Lucille Pearce Jones and Paul Graham Jones Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Pearce Jones.
A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Thursday, March 22, 2018, in the Rolesville Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Bridges and the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Donald is survived by: his daughter, Dana M. Jones of Wake Forest; a son, Kevin H. Jones and wife, Beca, of Wake Forest; his fiancée, Judy Pearce of Wake Forest; a half-brother, Joseph Olive Jones of Spring Hope; a half-sister, LaFon Jones Pearce of Rolesville; and grandchildren, Houston, Kaelin, Erin Jones, Korey and Logan Pearson.
Friends may visit with the family in the Rolesville Baptist Church Family Life Center from 9:30 to 10:45 before the service.

Glenn Clifford Morgan

Glenn Clifford Morgan, 77, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Maggie Matthews Morgan and Clifford Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Morgan; a son, Christopher Morgan; and a brother, Gerald Morgan.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Crettie Mitchell Morgan; his children, Dennis (Karen) Morgan, Rodney (Sherry) Morgan, Dan (Sonja) Morgan, Angie Morgan Walker, Randy (Wende) Honeycutt, Tina (Dudley) Brickhouse and Gwen (Vic) Smothers; a brother, Marshall (Ruby) Morgan; sisters, Wilma J. Honeycutt and Lina Moody; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Pretty Girl.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service.

Steven Mack ‘Steve’ Pittman

Steven Mack “Steve” Pittman, 61, of Raleigh passed away March 9, 2018 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Rocky Mount. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Cook; children, Tara Pittman (Matthew) Van Brocklin of Manassas, Virginia, Casandra Rae Pittman and Jade Michael Pittman of Dayton, Ohio; mother, Barbara Ellen Pittman; brother, Greg Pittman (Louann) of Raleigh; nieces, Kaley Pittman and Ashleigh (Michael) DaGrosa; sisters, Melissa (Scott) Whiting and Sonya (Adam) Guthrie, all of Raleigh; his four-legged children, Major Applewhite and Sparkles; and many loving and devoted friends. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Mack Ollen Pittman, and a brother, Blake Pittman.
Steve graduated from The Citadel with a degree in civil engineering. He went on to serve in the U.S Air Force for nearly 16 years where he achieved the rank of major. During his military career, he served in the Gulf War and participated in various humanitarian missions. After his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, he worked as a project manager for Brown & Root and Carter Burgess. He then served for 10 years as a deputy airport director, facilities, engineering and maintenance for the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority for over 10 years.
He had a passion for traveling the world and experiencing various cultures.Steve was a true handy man and was able to build or fix anything. He loved working on various home improvement projects. His love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.
A private memorial service was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial took place in Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.
