Curtis G. Kinton, 65, passed away on Monday evening, August 28, 2017, at Rex Hospital. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Zelma Pearson Kinton and Dennis L. Kinton.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, August 31, 2017, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Harp officiating.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marshall Kinton; a daughter, Amy Walker and husband, Brad, of Youngsville; a sister, Betty Pearce and husband, Kenneth, of Wake Forest; a brother, Bobby Kinton and wife, Pam, of Youngsville; and grandchildren, Katie Zinn and Derek Walker.
Memorial contributions can be made to the UNC Rex Cancer Center, 11200 Governor Manley Way, #102, Raleigh, NC 27614.
Friends may visit with the family for an hour before the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
