Thomas ‘Tom’ James Beadle
Wake Forest
Thomas “Tom” James Beadle passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He was born on November 11, 1952 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Edward and Patricia Beadle.
Tom lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed golfing and entertaining his many friends and family with his hilarious stories, while he cooked delicious food on the grill. He was a generous man with a contagious laugh, wicked sense of humor and a giant heart.
Tom was a loving husband to Dolores for nearly 44 years. He worked very hard throughout his life to provide for his family but he was most proud of his children, Tommy and Jackie. He could be found on the weekends playing ball with the kids in the neighborhood. He especially loved his friend and neighbor, Jacob Senden, who became like a grandson to him.
Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He fought very hard through his nine-month battle with brain cancer and the family would like to thank all of the nurses, doctors, aides and technicians who took care of him at Duke University Hospital, especially Casey Bayliss Brown.
A Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Tom is survived by: his wife, Dolores, of Wake Forest; a son, Dr. Thomas Beadle Jr. and his wife, Claire, of San Antonio Texas; and his daughter, Jackie Beadle of Nashville Tennessee.
