Bob Raymond passed away at home in Wake Forest on May 18, 2016. He was born August 2, 1943, in St. Petersburg, Florida, the youngest of Col. Allen and Mrs. Clara Raymond’s eight children. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nan, and brother Bill.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Wake Forest, on Saturday May 21st, at 11am with burial in Wake Forest Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley; daughters, Lorie (David Speight), and Tricia (Lonni Mahoney); and son Bob (Diane Ortli); plus grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, David, and Danny Sanders, Bryce, Kristen, and Patrick Lanning, Grant, Chris, Addison, and Marin Raymond; also his other sister, four remaining brothers, and their multitudinous children and grandchildren.
Bob graduated from Bishop Barry High School in St. Petersburg in 1961 and immediately joined the U.S. Army, serving in the 503rd Infantry 2nd Airborne Brigade until 1963. He worked his way through St. Petersburg Junior College and The University of South Florida as a milkman for Hood’s Dairy from 1963 to 1972. Bob earned his MBA from Duke University in 1986. He worked as a manager with Electronic Data Systems from 1972 to 1993. He owned and operated Uniglobe King Travel from 1993 to 2006 and was an SBA Counselor from 2006 to 2008. Bob was a member of Kiwanis in Avon Lake, Ohio, and Wake Forest, serving as president of the Avon Lake club.

Gracie Faison Harding Perry

Gracie Faison Harding Perry, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Friday evening, May 20, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Lillie Denton Faison and Leroy Faison. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Ann Bushey, and three brothers, Bill Faison, James Faison, and Tommy Faison.
A funeral service celebrating her life was held Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, Novlen Perry; a daughter, Linda Elms and her husband, Wayne, of Lake Gaston, Virginia; a son, Connie Mack Harding and wife, Teresa, of Stem; a brother, Dwight Faison of Franklinton; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mildred Rice Timberlake

On the wings of a snow white dove, God sent his pure sweet love a sign from above. God called Mildred home on May 16, 2016, to be among His angels and to walk the streets of gold.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2016, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mildred, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grand/great mother, aunt and friend celebrated her life for 92 years. She leaves behind a loving daughter, Jean Timberlake Brown (Ray); a granddaughter, Cindy Brown Wiseley (Les); a grandson, Dr. Marty Brown (Dina); a great-grandson, Ricky; a great granddaughter, Charlie; a sister, Betsy Ann Rice Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Timberlake; her step-son, Robert Earl Timberlake and wife Gladys; and her four brothers, Charlie Jr., Thurston Ray, Robert Hunter and Carey Perry Rice.
Rest in Peace, Sweet Mildred, and we will meet again.
