If you are hiring, reserve your table today for our upcoming Wake Forest Works Job Fair set for Tuesday, April 5, at Wake Forest Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. We’re partnering with our friends at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and we anticipate many quality applicants.

This job fair will connect employers with local talent, and all types of jobs – full-time, part-time, seasonal, etc. – in all industries are welcome to participate. Sponsorships are also available. The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Meet in the Street, its premiere arts and crafts festival, will be back on South White Street in downtown Wake Forest on Saturday, May 7. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. people can enjoy browsing more than 100 arts and crafts booths, listening to live music, tasting their way through the newest food trucks and enjoying activities with your children or grandchildren.

The Wake Forest Area Chamber Foundation is holding a Sporting Clays Tournament fundraiser on April 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rose Hill Estate in Nashville. Have fun shooting a round of clays while helping raise money for local youth leadership, career readiness, and financial literacy programs that benefit more than 1,000 area youth. https://tinyurl.com/2022clays.

The tournament is open to the public, and all levels of shooters are welcome. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 Cash Raffle and Top Shooter Contest (additional fees apply). After your round of clays, you’ll enjoy an outdoor expo featuring assorted exhibitors. Golf carts provided for all foursomes and for sponsors with a foursome of shooters. Individuals or small groups will be paired with others to create a foursome and will receive a golf cart.
