You have until March 11 to reserve your booth at Meet in the Street, presented by the Wake Forest Chamber and Atlantic Tire & Service. The popular arts and crafts festival will take place Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Wake Forest.

The food booths are sold out. To reserve a booth, call the chamber office and select either a standard booth or a sponsorship.

The Wake Forest Chamber Foundation will hold a Job Success 101 seminar on March 15 for eligible 16-18 year-olds. A mini job fair following the seminar will connect participants with area businesses. Chamber members are invited to participate in this workforce development initiative in one of two ways.

  1. Participate in the Job Fair:Businesses can recruit new employees at the mini job fair from 12:30 – 1:30 pm (setup at 11:30 am). There is no charge to participate.
  2. Volunteer at the Seminar:We need 10-15 HR/hiring managers to provide table facilitation, examples of employee best practices, and feedback on student resumes.

A Wake County Hospitality Job Fair to connect hospitality employers with potential employees will be held on March 5, 2019, from 10 am – 3 pm, at the Raleigh Convention Center. This event is being coordinated by the Greater Raleigh CVB, Capital Area Workforce Development, N.C. Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Raleigh Convention Center. The booths are filling up for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce’s new event  – a Family Expo to be held Saturday, March 23, at Richland Creek Community Church. It will be an opportunity for area residents to learn about summer and track-out camp, find a local pre-school, childcare, educational center, health care and other family-oriented businesses. Get your booth now before all the spaces are gone.

Along with the serious stuff there will be a lot of fun with bounce houses, face painting, food trucks and more.

Booth registration is now open. Sponsorships are also available for those eager to market their business. Call the chamber office for complete details and the registration packet.
