News about the chamber

Did you know the Chamber provides a comprehensive and affordable health benefits solution for small businesses? The plan is designed to meet all the compliance requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Not only can you remain in-network with all four major hospitals in Wake County, you will likely lower your premiums and obtain better coverage. Learn how your business can take advantage of this solution by attending a free workshop this month. Workshops will be held at the Chamber on November 8 at 12:00 pm and November 13 at 4:00 pm. Register by clicking the links above. If these times aren’t convenient, email Ann Welton and we can connect you to the provider.

The November Business After Hours hosted by Quality Plus Automotive Service and Help Me Rhonda Interiors will have a Give Back to the Community theme. In addition to the networking and refreshments there will be a raffle to benefit Mazie’s Mission Toy Drive for Duke Children’s Hospital.

Your donation can be as little or as much as you like: a gift certificate to your store, spa treatment, restaurant gift certificate, concert tickets, etc. Even an item as big as a mountain or beach house that you can raffle for a weekend would be appreciated. Anything helps! All items, along with your business name, will be showcased during the event.

Please email Anna Wood at marketing@qualityplusautomotive.com or Rhonda Plummer at hmrhondaint@hotmail.com with the item(s) you will be donating. Let’s make this a fabulous event that is not only fun but giving, and rally together and show everyone why Wake Forest is simply the best.

The Nov. 15 Business After Hours will be at 1600 and 1601 Heritage Commerce Court, the combined spaces of Quality Plus Automotive Service and Help Me Rhonda Interiors.
