Issues & Answers return Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 7:45 to 9 a.m. in Wake Electric’s Community Room at 100 South Franklin Street. The following topics will be covered:

Insurance: What is driving the increase in auto premiums that we have seen over the last year or so and when we might see some relief in the future.

Law: Legal updates on the Department of Labor Overtime Rule, the New I-9 Form, and the current status of the Affordable Care Act. Federally mandated paid family leave and join-employment laws will also be covered.

Taxes: Portions of the ACA law that will be phasing in over the next few years, now that it appears there will not be any changes to the current law, as well as possible changes to Federal and state tax laws by end of this calendar year.

Finance: Topic TBD

This is a free event open to both chamber members and the public. You can register here: https://wakeforestchamber.chambermaster.com/eventregistration/register/8470
