It’s time to elect new members of the board of directors for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce. Five directors are leaving the board: Seth Asbill, Bryan Millerm, Jennifer Ray, James Warren and David Williams.

Those up for election are June Sadowski with North State Bank, Keith Shackleford with Warren, Shackleford Attorneys, Charlotte Deal with Alexy Realty Group and Gordon Colemen with GJC Productions. Please go to the chamber site to cast your vote.

Leadership Wake Forest is the longest standing Foundation program with over 25 years of helping up and coming local leaders. It will begin in September and end in May. There is a cost of $500, but scholarships are available.

Potential attendees can learn more about the program by attending one or more of the online information sessions on July 15 and August 4 at 10 a.m. Go to the chamber website to register for one or more of those sessions where you will learn about the nine-month program, listen to alumni feedback and hear about the new community project opportunity.
