With Meet in the Street on May 6 only a couple weeks away, the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce staff is looking for over 100 volunteers to help the day before and the day of the event.
The staff says there are a wide variety of positions. Some can be handled only by adults (18+), but others are perfect for teens who need community service hours for school.
Check out the Volunteer Descriptions, then use the Sign Up Genius to pick your job. Both are on the chamber’s website. To thank you for your service, you’ll get a nifty souvenir volunteer T-shirt and a goody bag! Questions? Email or call Corey at (919) 556-1519 ext. 2.

Even if you don’t have a booth, you can still be a part of Meet in the Street by becoming a Volunteer T-shirt Sponsor. Only four sponsorships are left and the deadline to act is this Friday, April 21. The cost is $125 to get your business name on the back of the T-shirts and the opportunity to put your marketing materials in volunteer goody bags. If interested, contact Corey by April 18 at (919) 556-1519 ext. 2.
