Wake Forest Streets Superintendent Ronald Moore is the recipient of the 2018 Streets Manager of the Year Award. Nominated by members of his staff, Moore received the award in September during the annual meeting of the American Public Works Association North Carolina Chapter (APWA-NC) in Greenville, NC.
Selected by the APWA-NC Streets Division Board, the honor is bestowed annually to a NC APWA member with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, whose primary responsibilities include the management and/or maintenance of a roadway system.
A Town of Wake Forest employee since 2007, Moore was presented the award in recognition of “Significant contributions to the advancement of Street Management and Operations, specifically for effective and innovative leadership and management, contributions to the local community, the use of sustainable practices in daily operations, and exemplary customer service practices.”
