Saturday, March 27, will be Easter at the market with the vendors welcoming spring and saying goodbye to winter.
There will be fresh spring vegetables, eggs and more eggs, chocolate bunnies, chocolate in all forms, with holiday baked goods and music. You can also expect the usual array of meats from several vendors along with wreaths, post cards, locally roasted coffee (you can see their shop from the market), goats’ milk soaps and lotions, jams and jellies, and all manner of breads, and pottery.
The vendors will also be celebrating the end of the winter season and its limited hours of 10 a.m. to noon. Beginning Saturday, April 2, the market will be open in the Renaissance Plaza on Brooks Street from 8 a.m. to noon. And on Saturday, March 23, they will once again host what has become a favorite event for customers and vendors, the Spring Craft Market, featuring artisans and crafters from the nearby area.
