Koinonia reschedules its sale

Washed out over the weekend, Koinonia has rescheduled its sale of mums, pumpkins and other fall decorations, and the sale began Tuesday of this week and will continue through Thursday.

The sale will be on the grounds of the Wake Forest Historical Museum at 414 North Main Street, and the hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, and 9 a.m. until the mums and other items are all gone or 8 p.m.

The foundation is a Christian based organization founded 25 years ago from a Sunday School Class in WFBC to raise money and keep money on hand for those less fortunate who may need a little help with medical bills, utilities, food, appliances, clothing, etc.  They also contribute to other organizations such as Backpack Buddies, Hospice, ChurchNet, Tri-Area Ministries, Meals on Wheels, and SafeSpace, just to name a few.  This is the first annual Fall into Autumn event to raise awareness in our surrounding communities.  More than 95 percent of the funds raised during the year goes directly to helping those in need.
