Jones Dairy Elementary School will host a candidate forum on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 6:30 p.m. with candidates for the District 1 Wake County Board of Education, North Carolina House District 35 and North Carolina Senate District 18.
This is nonpartisan and open to the public.
The school board seats are Donald Mial, Heather Scott and Jim Thompson, and this election is nonpartisan.
The candidates for the North Carolina House District 35 are Rep. Chris Malone, Republican; Terence Everitt, Democrat, and Michael Nelson, Libertarian.
The candidates for the North Carolina Senate District 18 are Sen. John Alexander, Republican, Mack Paul, Democrat, and Brad Hessel, Libertarian.
