Jazz and Juleps help the RenCen

Carillon Assisted Living of Wake Forest at 3218 Heritage Trade Drive will host “Jazz and Juleps On the Terrace” Saturday, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. The Southern-themed event will raise funds for the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts. Area residents are invited to attend the event “dressed to impress” and enjoy a jazz performance by The Stillman Barrio, mint juleps and hors d’oeuvres on Carillon’s rose-filled trellis patio.

All proceeds from the benefit will help the Renaissance Center develop and promote artistic programming and endeavors that contribute to the revitalization of downtown, connect and engage the community through inspiring arts experiences and contribute to the local economy.

Carillon will host similar Jazz and Juleps fundraisers at each of its 19 senior communities statewide in the month of May. These signature fundraising events help Carillon fulfill its mission to be a trusted community partner everywhere that Carillon operates an assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community.

As part of that mission, Carillon creates opportunities for seniors to stay connected to the world around them – opportunities that enable older adults to keep growing, learning and making new connections of their own.
