For the fourth year, the Wake Forest Rotary Club and the Wake Forest High School Band Boosters will host a fundraiser to benefit both groups – the annual Comedy Night held this year at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre.
That witty weatherman Greg Fishel from WRAL will be the evening’s emcee, and two talented comics will entertain.
The Wake Forest High School Jazz Band will provide the music.
Food? Lots of hors d’oeuvres donated by local restaurants with a cash bar.
It will all begin at 6:30 and end at 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 8. Tickets are $25 each.
One of the evening’s highlights will be an auction and some raffles, and the club is going to produce an auction catalog with graphics and descriptions, including retail value of the items. To cover the cost of the catalog, they are raising money by offering advertising space on the booklet on a first-come, first-served basis. The rates start at $200 for the back cover and $150 for the inside front cover; prices after that go down to $60 for a quarter of a page.
