Friday Night on White changing

There will be some significant changes for the second Friday Night on White on May 13, including more beverages than beer, free nonalcoholic beverages to designated drivers, additional sale points for the beer and wine tokens and additional serving stations for beer and wine. Also, Friday Night on White T-shirts in children’s sizes are on order and will cost $5 each.

The band for the May 13 event will be BrickHouse, said to be one of the most popular bands in the Atlantic region. They will be performing a variety of hits to keep the party going.

The food and dessert trucks for May 13 are Arepa Culture NC, Bam Pow Chow, Baton Rouge Cuisine, Baton Rouge Cuisine, Charlie’s Kabob Grill on Wheels, Cousins Maine Lobster, Fuzzy’s Empanadas, The VFW Chuckwagon, Virgil’s Jamaica, Kona Ice, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, and Sweet Stacey Cakes.

It all begins at 6 p.m. You must use tokens to purchase beer and wine but cash for water and soft drinks. Leave your coolers at home; bring a lawn chair instead. The event will take place rain or shine.
