Fall into the WF Farmers Market

The weather is, thankfully, getting cooler, the days shorter, and our thoughts turn to heartier meals, pumpkins, squash, butter beans and black-eyed peas. You can find those and more at the Wake Forest Farmers Market in the Renaissance Plaza on Brooks Street every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Vendors will have the fixings for those seasonal meals – they offer many varieties and cuts of meat including beef, chicken, pork, goat, lamb, turkey and rabbit – along with eggs, seafood, breads and baked goods, fair trade coffee, chocolate, fresh cut and dried flowers, perennial and annual plants and herbs, jewelry, baskets, wood products, soaps, lotions, and dog treats.

Go to www.wakeforestmarket.org or https://www.facebook.com/wakeforestfm/ to check all of this week’s vendors.
