This year’s Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk will be on Sunday, Sept. 27, as usual, but it will be unusual in being a virtual event.
This year’s walking events will have do-it-yourself themes, with the individuals and teams having the option to plan their own routes. Suggestions for where to walk are the greenways, parks, neighborhoods, parking lots, neighborhoods, or at home. We encourage walkers to share their participation with social media.
We will celebrate our common goal of Ending Hunger One Step at a Time. Experience the joy that comes with helping others. Walk. Give. Save the world.
On September 27 Tri-Area Ministry (149 E. Holding Ave.) will have on-site volunteers
for donations of food from 1 to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 4 p.m. #EndHungerNow, #virtualcrophungerwalk, www.facebook.com/wakeforestcrophungerwalk
