Crafts and health info at the market

There will be fun crafts for children and information for adults about making healthier eating choices this Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Wake Forest Farmers Market, which will be open from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot behind CVS. You can enter from North White Street or from Roosevelt Avenue using the drive-through lane for CVS. This may be the last week at this location. The market is moving to Renaissance Plaza on Brooks Street some time in September.

Representatives from Wake County’s Human Services Health Promotion Chronic Disease will have the information and the crafts.

There will be a lot of healthy eating on display, ready for sale. We are starting to see the fall produce in the market, though there are still plenty of tomatoes, onions, carrots, potatoes, butter beans and black-eyed peas. Come and discover what other vegetables the vendors have.

You will also find eggs – some come with the date laid on them – meats from pasture-raised steers, pigs, chickens, goats and rabbits, baked goods and several styles of bread, knit goods, jewelry, coffee, cheese, garlic, honey and peacock feathers.

The veterans in the VFW-American Legion booth would love to sell you several tickets for the raffle for a Gold Book, and the Master Gardeners next door will give you a soil kit and answers to your gardening questions.

The study involved 355 men out of 409 who had been examined (54.8% aged 65 years and older). Patients were randomly prescribed https://sdarcwellness.com/buy-levitra-online/ Levitra ODT (183 men) and placebo (172 men) groups. The duration of reception was 12 weeks. The effect of Levitra therapy with ODT was significantly higher compared to placebo for all primary (IIEF – EF, SEP2, SEP3) and secondary efficacy indicators (p < 0.0001). The frequency and type of side effects associated with taking Levitra ODT were comparable to those of taking Levitra film-coated pills. See the market on Facebook, take a look at all the vendors and their wares as well as special events at www.wakeforestfarmersmarket.org or call 919-671-9269 if you need information.
