Local organizations are sponsoring Meet and Greet occasions for candidates in this fall’s municipal elections. The event for the five Wake Forest candidates and those from Knightdale, Rolesville, Wendell and Zebulon will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Knightdale Town Hall at 950 Steeple Square Court.
The Wake Forest candidates for three open seats are Chad Casale Sr., Brian Clemson, incumbent Greg Harrington, Brian Pate and incumbent Anne Reeve.
The event is free and open to all. There will be voter registration available beginning at 6 p.m. that night. The sponsors are Delta Sigma Theta Sorority chapters, Wake League of Women Voters, WakeUP Wake County, and El Pueblo.
