*The Wake Forest Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Renaissance Plaza in front of the Renaissance Centre. Food, music and farm-

*The Wake Forest Town Board will hold its monthly work session Thursday, Nov. 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room in Wake Forest Town Hall. Please note the changed date, done because of the town election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

*The Wake Forest Planning Board will meet Thursday, Nov. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room in Wake Forest Town Hall. Please note the changed date, done because of the town election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

*A Holiday Bazaar sponsored by the St. Ives Estates Activities Committee will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the St. Ives Clubhouse at 505 Capellan Street. Vendors are asked to donate $10 to Tri-Area Ministries Food Pantry in lieu of space rental and shoppers are asked to donate nonperishable food items on the day of the bazaar. *Veterans Day will be commemorated Wednesday, Nov. 11, by a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Wake Forest Veterans Memorial next to the Heritage Golf Course Clubhouse just off Heritage Lake Road. The ceremony will be conducted by the Walter E. Cole American Legion Post 187 and all area residents are invited to attend.

*The 2025 Renaissance Centre Broadway Ball will provide an evening of music, dancing and food while at the same time raising money for the centre’s youth scholarship program. The time is Saturday, Nov. 14, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street. See all the details in the article in this issue.

*The annual Wake Forest CROP Walk will be held Sunday, Nov. 15, with registration beginning at 2 p.m. at the Wake Forest United Methodist Church on South Main Street. See article in this issue for details.

*The tenth annual Gobbler’s Run benefitting the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club will be held the morning of Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. See article in this week’s Gazette for details.

*Christmas is coming, though it is a while away. Mark your calendars now for A Walk Through Bethlehem Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4, 5 and 6, at the Wake Forest Presbyterian Church. We will give you the times and other details as the time nears.
