*A Holiday Bazaar sponsored by the St. Ives Estates Activities Committee will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the St. Ives Clubhouse at 505 Capellan Street. Vendors are asked to donate $10 to Tri-Area Ministries Food Pantry in lieu of space rental and shoppers are asked to donate nonperishable food items on the day of the bazaar. *Veterans Day will be commemorated Wednesday, Nov. 11, by a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Wake Forest Veterans Memorial next to the Heritage Golf Course Clubhouse just off Heritage Lake Road. The ceremony will be conducted by the Walter E. Cole American Legion Post 187 and all area residents are invited to attend.
*The 2025 Renaissance Centre Broadway Ball will provide an evening of music, dancing and food while at the same time raising money for the centre’s youth scholarship program.
