*There will be a repeat of the Holiday Wake Forest Farmers Market this Saturday, Dec. 20, because the market’s board has asked the crafters and artists to return to the Renaissance Plaza from 10 a.m. to noon. This will give shoppers a chance to buy that special Christmas gift and stock up on seasonal greens, eggs, meats and baked goods.
*Calls from Santa and Mrs. Santa will be made from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11.
*The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Wake Forest will be held Thursday, Jan. 22, at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church on Friendship Chapel Road. The community dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.
