*Hope House Weekly Food Pantry distributes food at 1 p.m. every Thursday. Hope House volunteers pick up the food from the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina and the house typically has vegetables, fruits, salad packages and breads but sometimes does have meat, eggs, fruit juice and milk. *The 2017 Wake Forest Dementia Awareness Education Series will conclude Thursday, Oct. 19, with a special movie screening of “Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me.” The free meeting at the Renaissance Centre begins with registration at 5 p.m. See article in this issue for all the details.
*Tri-Area Ministry will host a Stop Hunger Feed Hope dinner and auction to raise money to purchase fresh produce for the 700 families who rely on the ministry’s food pantry.
