*The Wake Forest Farmers Market will be held in Renaissance Plaza on Brooks Street Saturday, May 27, from 8 a.m. to noon. See the market’s Facebook page for vendors.

*Monday Night Bingo at The Factory is hosted by the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club in the Mill Room from 7 to 9:30 p.m. every Monday night. All profits support the club’s projects for children. Visit www.wakeforestbingo.com for more information.

*Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry at 149 East Holding Avenue is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for food distribution and serves about 700 families in Wake Forest, Youngsville, Rolesville and their surrounding areas. *Music at Midday will continue Thursday, May 25 with Teresa Williams and John Custer performing ‘70s rock. Find them from noon to 1 p.m. in Centennial Plaza on Brooks Street in front of the Wake Forest Town Hall. Bring a lunch to the free event and relax. The final concert sponsored by the town and WF Arts will take place Thursday, June 1, featuring the jazz ensemble Capital Transit.

*National Trails Day will be celebrated at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Saturday, June 3. The free event features a number of interactive events. For details see article in this issue.

*Graham Pope Sr. will be honored for his World War II service during the 19th Wake Forest Memorial Flag-Raising Ceremony Monday, June 5, at 11 a.m. in Centennial Plaza on Brooks Street. See article in this issue for details.

*Friday Night on White continues on June 9 with Bull City Syndicate providing the music. See article in this issue for details.

*Suicide Blonde, an ‘80’s cover band, will play for a concert to benefit the nonprofit CHERUBS-CDH on Friday, June 9, from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Renaissance Centre for the Arts on Brooks Street. Tickets are $10 before the event, available through EventBrite, and $15 at the door.

*The Wake Forest Charity Car Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, along South White Street in historic downtown Wake Forest. It is free. In the event of rain, the show will be rescheduled for Saturday, June 24.
