*Storytelling Pajama Night featuring Rags to Riches Theatre will be held Friday, Dec. 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It is part of the Wake Forest Renaissance Center’s Arts for All free community performance series supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
*A Christmas for All will be presented by Restoration Church of Wake Forest Thursday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. in Heritage Middle School on Rogers Road. It is free and you can order tickets at htpp://restorationrdu.com. There will be free child care.
*The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church on Friendship Chapel Road with a fellowship dinner at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m.
*On Friday, Jan. 27, Sing-WF will present a program about how seniors can be financially defrauded and how to prevent it. The meeting from 8:45 to 10 a.m. will be held in the Wake Electric Community Room at 100 South Franklin Street. Parking is in the rear as is the entrance to the room. *State of the Town Address and Dinner will be held Monday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre on Brooks Street. All area residents are invited to attend. Tickets are $15 per person.
*Wake Forest Mardi Gras Street Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on South White Street will feature a walking parade, children’s activities and contests for people of all ages on Saturday, Feb. 25. It is free and geared toward families. Start making a mask now.
